The photo series draws inspiration from The Legend of the White Snake for the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Snake, exploring the serpent’s multifaceted symbolism: power, temptation, as well as the interplay between humanity, nature, and cycles of rebirth.
The visuals employ cool tones, blending contrasts of light and shadow to evoke mystery and poetry. The series incorporates net-like structures and Chinese opera motifs, blurring the lines between genders , tradition and modernity.
